Varsity has now evolved into Varsity Fanclub,
VFC. Jayk Purdy said, " We wanted our fans
to find us on the web easier and every boy
band should have initials. Varsity Fanclub
has come a long way in a very short time.
They released their new single, Future Love
and it's already one of the most requested
songs on Radio Disney. They also appeared
on an episode of The Middleman. The Boy
Band Superfan Interrogation episode is
built entirely around them. Varsity Fanclub
sang and showed off their talents in acting
as well. Jayk said, "The shows about us
with a plot twist in the end so everyone should
tune in and watch." Bobby Edner said, "I
felt at home on that set, it was a lot of fun to
work on that show. It was a little different from
what I normally do. We weren't playing a role
we were playing ourselves, as a group. It was
a really cool experience." The extras on the
set of The Middleman were all impressed
with these talented and great-looking guys
and became true fans.

Jayk said, " The people said you turned us into real fans just by performing!" Bobby added, "A lot of the extras got on My Space and looked us up. They really liked our songs and that's cool!" The guys are giving some of their fans a chance to see them in person. They are going on a radio promotion tour with stops in Knoxville, TN, Chicago and a week in New York City. They will even play a few impromptu concerts for a few lucky fans. VFC is also planning to shoot a video for their single, Future Love in late August. Their debut CD under Capitol Records will be released October 28th. The Varsity Fanclub My Space is offering fans a special promotion. If you pre-order their debut CD. "Varsity" six weeks before the release date, they will make available 1 free download song per week.
