| Eric Dill is embarking on a solo career that is showcasing his talents. Formerly, the lead singer for The Click Five, his voice led the group to the Billboard hit, " Just the Girl." Now this talented young man is rocking with his own style. Eric started playing guitar at twelve years old and wrote his first song at thirteen. He said the music he listened to while growing up had a lasting impression on him and influenced his choice of career. His musical influences are great artists like, Michael Jackson, Greenday and Nirvana. Eric describes his music as pop with a bit of rock edge to it. He writes his own material and finds inspiration to write from his life experiences and imagination. Some songs come to him all at once but some are born from an idea or chord that he finds interesting. One of his newest songs, " The End of Me and You " is one of his favorites. He said, " It's an honest song, I like the way it sounds and the meaning behind it." |
| Eric is working on new music and he lets his fans hear his newest creations on MySpace/ Eric Dill. Eric said his many fans love hearing what he has made for them and he keeps them updated with new music and local shows. He is also branching out by co-creating a TV show which will feature him. He showed his prowess at acting in the movie "Taking Five" that he starred in with The Click Five. The video for "Taking Five" was recently released on DVD. Eric said that he had alot of fun doing that movie and can't wait for people to see it. His fans are extremely important to him. Eric said, " I want my fans to know that I'm grateful for their appreciation and support." Eric, in turn, has a loyal fan base that supports and appreciates his musical talent. |
